Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Paws On Auto LLC ("PAO," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you visit our website, communicate with us, purchase services, or use PAO-configured systems.
By using our website or services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you use PAO services on behalf of a grooming business, you represent that you are authorized to provide information to us and to allow us to process information as needed to provide the services.
1.Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to information collected through PAO's website, sales process, onboarding forms, payment process, support communications, and PAO-configured systems. It also applies to information PAO may process on behalf of grooming business clients, including client and pet information entered into connected CRM, booking, messaging, payment, calendar, review, or social media tools.
Some PAO systems are powered by third-party services, including GoHighLevel, Stripe, Google, Meta/Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, email/SMS providers, analytics tools, and other integrations. Those providers may have their own privacy policies and data practices.
2.Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide to Us
We may collect information that you provide directly, including:
- Name, email address, phone number, business name, job title, and contact details;
- Business information such as location, hours, services, pricing, staff, calendars, policies, and operational preferences;
- Account setup information, onboarding form responses, support requests, consultation notes, and communication history;
- Billing information, subscription details, payment status, and transaction records handled through Stripe or another payment processor;
- Content you provide for websites, forms, automations, messages, social media posts, reviews, testimonials, or other service materials.
2.2 Customer and Pet Information Processed Through Client Accounts
When we configure or support systems for grooming business clients, we may process information about their customers and pets. This may include customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, appointment history, pet names, pet breeds, grooming notes, service preferences, photo consent choices, recurring booking preferences, review status, birthday dates, cancellation/no-show records, and other data entered into or generated by the system.
For this type of data, PAO generally acts as a service provider or processor for the grooming business client. The grooming business remains responsible for providing privacy notices, obtaining required consents, honoring customer rights, and ensuring the data it provides to PAO may lawfully be processed.
2.3 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website or interact with our digital services, we or our providers may automatically collect:
- IP address, approximate location, device information, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs;
- Pages viewed, time on site, clicks, scrolls, form interactions, and other usage analytics;
- Cookie identifiers, tracking pixels, session data, and advertising or analytics identifiers where enabled.
2.4 Information From Third Parties
We may receive information from third-party tools and integrations used to provide our services, such as GoHighLevel, Stripe, Google services, social media platforms, scheduling tools, domain providers, analytics tools, or messaging providers. We may also receive information from publicly available sources, referrals, or business directories where permitted.
3.How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, configure, maintain, improve, secure, and support PAO services;
- Create and manage accounts, subscriptions, invoices, payment records, and customer support;
- Build and test booking, CRM, calendar, SMS, email, review, rebooking, social media, and automation workflows;
- Communicate about services, onboarding, support, billing, changes, security, and other transactional matters;
- Send marketing communications where permitted or where consent has been obtained;
- Analyze website and service usage, troubleshoot errors, improve performance, and develop new features;
- Generate or assist with AI-supported estimates, workflow logic, message drafts, captions, segmentation, or routing where included in the selected service tier;
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, unlawful activity, policy violations, and payment issues;
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, and protect our rights, users, customers, and services.
4.SMS, Email, and Communications
If you provide your phone number or email address to PAO, you may receive service-related communications, including onboarding messages, appointment or meeting reminders, billing notices, support communications, and other transactional messages. Where permitted and where consent has been obtained, you may also receive promotional messages from PAO.
Text messaging opt-in data and your consent to receive text messages from PAO are not shared with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share your phone number and message content with the service providers necessary to deliver the message itself, such as our messaging platform provider and telecommunications carriers, but only for that purpose.
Message frequency may vary depending on your relationship with PAO and the services you have requested or are receiving. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any services from PAO.
You may opt out of PAO marketing SMS messages at any time by replying STOP, or by contacting us. For help, reply HELP or contact us using the information in Section 17. You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us. Opting out of marketing communications does not necessarily stop transactional or service-related communications that are necessary to provide requested services.
For grooming business clients using PAO-configured systems to communicate with their own customers, the grooming business is responsible for obtaining and maintaining required consent, honoring opt-outs, and ensuring all messages comply with applicable law and messaging platform rules. PAO's role with respect to those messages is limited to providing the configured technology; PAO does not control, and is not responsible for, the grooming business's messaging content, audience, or consent practices.
5.Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, analytics tools, and similar technologies to operate our website, remember preferences, understand usage, improve services, measure marketing performance, and support advertising where enabled.
Types of technologies may include essential cookies, analytics cookies, performance tools, advertising pixels, and similar identifiers. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect website functionality.
Where legally required, we will provide additional notice or consent choices for non-essential cookies or similar tracking technologies.
6.How We Disclose Information
We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose information in the following ways:
- Service providers and processors: We share information with vendors that help us operate our business and services, such as GoHighLevel, Stripe, hosting providers, analytics providers, email/SMS providers, calendar providers, social platforms, support tools, and security tools.
- Client-directed integrations: We may share or sync data with third-party accounts or integrations that a client connects or requests, such as Google Calendar, Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Stripe, or other business tools.
- Legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud or abuse.
- Business transfers: If PAO is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, asset sale, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With consent: We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or otherwise consent.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent described in Section 4 above are excluded from the categories of information described in this Section 6 and are not shared with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes.
Some privacy laws define certain advertising or analytics disclosures as "sharing" or "targeted advertising." Where those laws apply, you may have the right to opt out of such processing as described below.
7.Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment processor. PAO does not store full payment card numbers on its own servers. Payment processors may collect payment card details, billing information, transaction records, fraud signals, and related information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
If a refund is issued, the amount returned may exclude non-refundable processing fees retained by the payment processor, as described in PAO's Terms of Service and applicable checkout or invoice terms.
8.Artificial Intelligence and Automation
Some PAO services may use artificial intelligence or automated tools to assist with estimates, message drafts, captions, routing, segmentation, reporting, or workflow support. Data used with these tools may include business information, service details, appointment information, customer/pet details, and operational preferences, depending on the selected tier and configuration.
We use reasonable efforts to limit AI and automation data to what is useful for providing the service. Clients are responsible for reviewing AI-assisted outputs before relying on them for pricing, scheduling, customer communication, or other business decisions.
9.Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, collect fees, enforce agreements, prevent fraud or abuse, and maintain business records. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the nature of the relationship, legal requirements, backup practices, and operational needs.
When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or archive it, subject to legal, operational, backup, and third-party platform limitations.
10.Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no online service, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Clients are responsible for maintaining secure passwords, limiting team access, using appropriate account permissions, promptly removing former staff users, and protecting connected third-party accounts.
11.Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and the laws that apply, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection regarding personal information. You may also have rights to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, sharing, or profiling activities where applicable.
Utah residents and residents of other states with applicable privacy laws may have additional rights under state privacy laws. PAO will evaluate requests according to the law that applies to the requesting person, the applicable data, and PAO's role as controller, business, processor, or service provider.
To make a privacy request, contact us using the information in Section 17. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. If we process your information on behalf of a grooming business client, we may direct your request to that business or assist the business in responding.
12.Marketing Choices
You may unsubscribe from PAO marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. You may opt out of PAO marketing SMS by replying STOP or contacting us. You may control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through our cookie notice or preference tools.
13.Children's Privacy
PAO services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to PAO, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information where required.
14.International Users
PAO is based in the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws in your location.
15.Third-Party Links and Services
Our website or services may link to or integrate with third-party websites, platforms, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, content, or policies of third parties. Review their policies before providing information to them.
16.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice by email, website notice, platform notice, or another reasonable method. Continued use of our services after an updated Policy becomes effective means you accept the updated Policy.
